A scout is always prepared for the unexpected attack on art and personal freedom.A scout keeps an eagle eye out for self-appointed censors, racists, bigots, homophobes, misogynists, born-again nutjobs, tea-baggers, vulture capitalists, slumlords, banksters, flame-brains, pedophile priests, and all enemies of free expression.
A Beuyscout is BRAVE.
A scout faces danger even when afraid and has the courage to stand firm amid an onslaught of criticism and state-sponsored harassment and censorship.
A Beuyscout is IRREVERENT.
A scout cultivates a cynical eye and dares to drive a stake through the heart of every sacred cow.
A Beuyscout is DARING.
A scout is eager to create extreme works of art, even though many find the work offensive. A scout supports erotic art and is sworn to protect it from all those who would censor, ban, silence, or restrict it.
